ENTER THE PATH OF THE LORD'S PASSION WITH VR TECHNOLOGY

Via Dolorosa

Embark on a virtual pilgrimage to Jerusalem. Walk the path of Passion and Resurrection with VR technology.

Traditional contemplation in a new way

Since the beginning of Christianity, Jerusalem has been the most important pilgrimage destination. Such an expedition always involved enormous costs, efforts and risks, which is why stations of the Way of the Cross were erected near the churches, and even entire calvaries to bring the experience closer. Now, with incredible VR technology and 360° shots, you can experience and contemplate the Way of the Cross in a whole new way.

Enter Jerusalem and see it as if you were there

Travelling to Jerusalem is still something that not everyone can afford. Costs, health or personal problems - “Via Dolorosa” gives everyone the opportunity to see Jerusalem, without any exclusions. Now that the war in Gaza makes it very dangerous to go to Israel, "Via Dolorosa" is actually the only safe way to experience the Way of the Cross in Jerusalem as if you were there.

Virtual Pilgrimage

“Via Dolorosa” takes you along the path of the Passion of the Christ, starting from the Mount of Olives, through all the stations up to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. It is a unique journey, a virtual pilgrimage through the narrow streets of Jerusalem, which will not only allow you to move to this special place, but, above all, help with contemplation and meditation around the Passion of Christ.

Modern technology for people of all ages

Although we often think that new technologies are only for the youngest, “Via Dolorosa” is an example of how people of all ages can benefit from them. A visit to the VR cinema allows you to get familiar with the latest technologies. It is an excellent introduction to catechesis lessons for young people and an opportunity for seniors to experience virtual reality (VR). The most important thing for us, however, was that the technology itself should not dominate over the contemplation and prayer. It is the Way of the Cross that is in the spotlight. VR allows us to get closer to It and better understand the Passion of Christ.
